Chapter Nineteen

Darezz sat in the car, looking dumbstruck when Darius pulled into a parking spot near Mahogany. This was the last place he wanted to be right now, “Darius? Why are we stopping here?”

“Uh, because I am hungry. You know I love the food here. Besides Andre, has never been here, so he is meeting us. Is something wrong?” Darius asked with a questioning look on his face. Darezz huffed a little but didn’t say anything. Maybe this is what he deserved for the moment. His punishment. Hesitantly he finally replied, “No. No it’s cool. Let’s go on in.” Darius looked at his brother before opening the door. He could see that something was wrong but he would wait until he wanted to talk about it. When they walked in, Andre was already seated at a booth. Darezz looked around and was glad that he didn’t see Skyy at that moment. Putting on his game face, he sat in the booth alongside his brother.

“So Darezz are you going to tell us what happened to your car?” Andre started, he had an amused looked on his face.

“It was vandalized.”Darezz told him flatly. He didn’t appreciate Andre being amused as his expense.

“Just vandalized huh?” Andre responded back as he took a sip of his coffee. Andre could see the agitated look on his face.

“Yup. I hope I won’t be putting you both out of your way until it’s fixed.” Darezz said looking from Darius to Andre.

“Naw, we got you. Darius told him. He was just about to say something else when he saw Skyy walk into the Café. He didn’t miss the look that crossed Darezz’s face.
